January Faves

Another month, Another grind

First monthly faves of the year goes to beauty, apps, tv shows, musics, and random compiled faves. How was my January? It was productive + busy + exhausting. However, I love embracing the grind. Although it was hectic, I got to keep myself sane.

So, let's get into it!

BEAUTY : MARY KAY

Gel Semi-Matte Lipstick

Always Apricot

For some reason, when I wear this lipstick, it makes my face bright and blooming. I got lots of compliments when I first tested it, like “Hey it suits you, you need to buy it.” and “It gives you a Korean Beauty look.”

It’s also long lasting for a semi-creamy lipstick, of course it doesn’t last all day but at least it last for few hours. I retouch it for like 3-4 times a day, every day, and I’m impressed that the amount of lipstick cream left is pretty long lasting as well.

APPS : TIDE, PLANT NANNY, & iFLIX

Tide helps me with my focus when working, studying, and relaxing. While Plant Nanny, guides me to drink appropriate amount of water everyday based on my height and weight. It makes it so fun as well because it measures the amount of water I drink, and the water I drank goes to the plant I’m trying to plant.

So far, I grew two plants for this month Dandy (Dandelion plant) and Ivy Aguas (Devil’s Ivy plant). Currently I’m trying to grow a Cactus named Cacteu. The names have funny behind story, that’s why I love ‘em.

Recently downloaded app on my phone is iFlix. I got this app because my sister told me that if you’re subsribed to PLDT Home Fibr and DSL, you can enjoy unlimited access to iFlix ‘til the end of April. It’s always better when it’s free, right.

TV SHOW : I’M NOT A ROBOT & PRETTY LITTLE LIARS

I got hooked in this KDrama called I’m Not A Robot, basically the plot made me instantly look for an online link to watch this series. Another plus point is, Kim Min Gyu and Jo Ji Ah has such great chemistry, they make me cry out of happiness and sadness at the same time. But I’ll never regret those emotions. And, behind those emotions, they maintained the lightweight atmosphere of the show.

“Kim Min Gyu has wealth and success, but lives an isolated life due to his allergy of people. He then meets and falls in love with a girl who is pretending to be a robot for her ex-boyfriend, a genius robots professor.”

Allergy of people? Like what! Seriously, it deserves a lot of attention and watchers.

Please don’t slap me for this, but yes I finally finished watching Pretty Little Liars Season 7. Better late than never, right? Honestly, I’m satisfied of the ending, although it was an “out-of-nowhere” behind story of AD, it still made sense so it’s okay. I watched this on iFlix, they have all the episodes with subtitles because sometimes I need to turn it on because Hanna talks way too fast when she’s panicking.

MUSIC : SUZY’S FACES OF LOVE & I’M NOT A ROBOT OST

Suzy Bae is one of my faves since Dream High. So knowing that she came back on the show with a new album named “Faces of Love” made me palpitate in a good way because I was too excited.

I first listened to “I’m inlove with someone else” and fell inlove with the MV and the story of the song. Although, I’m not relate with the song, I find the song true to life and can easily catches someone’s heart. So far, that’s the song I’ve been repeating because I haven’t heard her other songs which already came out but I had no time to search and start listening to it.

Cross fingers, on February, I’ll love her whole album as much as I love Suzy Bae.

One of the reason why I love I’m Not A Robot, is they have such beautiful original soundtracks. I love every OST they have, and that’s when you know that the show was beautifully made.

My most favorite from the OST Album is, #03 Words Of Your Heart – Kim Yeon-ji, and #04 Loving A Thing With All One’s Heart – Damsonegongbang. But honestly, I love all their songs.

RANDOM : YEKONGI TV

Since I subscribed to this YT Channel, I never missed a daily video of Ye Kong. She’s an adorable little girl with pretty face and her parents vlogs her and upload little videos of her every day which I find helpful for me because I can just watch one video of her when I get home from work, and then she put my stresses away. She’s just so adorable and easy to watch.
